Right now Im the server with the cable modem. And theres 3 other PC's in the house and we're all connected to a hub.

Right now Im using sygate to share the net..and it works great, BUT>...

Im wondering If It can be better to use ICS for win2k instead. Mabe so I wont use as much rescources and so sygate doesnt slow down my PC at bootup.

How hard it this to setup on my win2k machine? Can someone tell me what settings to use? All other machines are win98

thanx

Though ICS and 2k is a piece of cake, I don't know if you will see an improvement over Sygate, or any other proxy/NAT software for that matter.

BTW, to fix your sig, use virtualave.net. ;) It's the only one that seems to work anymore.

I did use Sygate at one time but then switched to ICS in 2k Advanced Server and like it alot better. You have more options on opening certain ports to other computers and it runs in the background so its not always hanging down in your status tray. I like that alot.
