My router is set up for @Home and works just fine. But when I've shut my computer down for the day (teh cable modem and router stay on), the next day, I boot up. When I open my browser, it starts to load up my default web page, it detects the web pages IP address, but then it just hangs there. sometimes ti will dwonload 1 graphic or so, but mostly just hangs.

To fix it, I have to reset my modem and redo settings. very annoying. any ideas?

i have the same kind of problem with my 1 port. so i called linksys up and they told me to turn of DHCP and enable static routing. if you need any help with this go ahead and email me. not sure if it works yet thought. i will go home tonight and see if everything works fine.

I bought a Linky two days ago, worked perfect for 24 hours, then it started the freezing up sh*t, and the DCHP server wouldnt work, kept disconecting from the DSL, then when i would go to check settings and the server pages were all messed up, and the last thing i'm gonna do is flash a brand new box and void the warranty so I just ripped it out 1 half hour ago and raced to the store and returned the piece of SH*T. For all the reviews I read on the Linky, even the high praises in the reviews on Speedguide.net either I got a bad one or they are really SH*t and people are lieing or being paid for nice reviews

Maybe maybe not, but you need to be able to see the server http page to be able to do it right?
And on a one day old box, why the heck should I have to???

Sorry to hear you folks are having bad luck. I've had mine for some time with 3 PCs and a cable modem hanging off it. Have had great luck right from the start (knock on wood). Would be curious to see if replacement solves your problem. While I've had good luck up to now, I've always got an ear open for a future solution.

linksys told me that they hade problems with @home service in florida.

i called them with the problem listed above and they said they were going to give i to there "high-end techs" or something like that. then they said that they will probably send me a POS BETA version of the firmware that probably wont work.

ohh well
