I have a SMC Barricade router that shares my @Home cable modem with 4 computers. My modem never loses sync, yet several times a day I am unable to access the Internet for maybe 5-10 minutes at a time. I just have to wait for it to mysteriously work again. Originally I had posted this problem in the Cable Modem forum, but now I think that maybe it is a problem on my end, possibly not configuring my router properly.
Of course, I have tried to set it with both static and dynamic IP and end up with the same problem. I also tried a Linksys Router but that was even worse.
