Hello everyone-I just purchased a LinkSys BEFSR41 4 port router to use with my @Home service. The reason I bought one is so I can connect my Sega Dreamcast with it,for I have a broadband adapter that I wish to use. Well,I'll tell you right now that I am having no luck whatsoever properly configuring my PC to the router. I connected it all okay,as the manual says. Any of you who have AT&T @Home and one of these routers--HOW did you get yours set up and configured? I'm getting a little frustrated, and I need a little assistance! Your help is appreciated!!

How did you configure your connection? Statically or dynamically? If dynamically, be sure to enter your @Home assigned computer name. Either way, enter you domain name, which should be disclosed on your work order. Enter your ISP's DNS servers on each PC's TCP/IP stack.

Also, be sure to change the IP config on the PCs to remove references to WINS and DNS (i.e. disable them) since they'll be getting their address via DHCP from the router and the router will be doing the talking with your ISP's DNS & WINS.
