I installed an Anypoint Home Network (through the telephone lines, 1MB/s). Version 2 software. I have a cable connection on the network server. Norton internet security.
Since I installed it, I found that internet explorer sometimes seems to stop for 30/60 seconds while attempting to connect to a site. Not a major issue, but it is something that did not happen as regular as now.
I tested my ping times to a number of sites and no problems there, but then again this problem doesn't come up all the time.
Speed of the connection is fine once explorer gets going. Further, the problem remains if I disable the network software from the tray or the actual connection. An uninstall of the software on the other hand solves the problem, but that doesn't get me anywhere in networking.
Anyone who knows how to solve this?
