Is a TCP/IP required for a network if you have NetBEUI?
Until recently, I've had problems with my Linksys EFAH05W router. It's been quick at sharing files, and even great for new games (1998 or later) and it never failed me so far. However, for pretty old games like Red Alert, when I host a game, during like 2-20 minutes into the game, my computer freezes and the other computer on the network says it disconnected, although we are both connected to the LAN. What's wrong? I have a Netgear PCMCIA card in the top PC slot, don't know if it's zoom enabled or if the bottom one is. The card is connected to port 1 in the router. The other computer to port 2. Is there something wrong with my network settings or is there something wrong with the game?
