You guys know about hooking up dual modems for faster internet, well how about dual nic's for more stable downloading. Would that work and how would you set it up in windows?

I really don't think so! Both cards would be trying to pull the same Ip address. Which would cause a conflict.Dual nics are usally for networking not more speed. So I really doubt it would work. But you can try and see.

I think what your trying to accomplish is creating 2 redundant paths to your computer, this is also known as load balancing. There is no need for you in a home network to do this. If you want to talk about binding 2 data streams together for more throughput, your outta luck there too. Things like this are accomplished with enterprise type routers from Cisco and other vendors.
