help 2000 server....

i am getting DNS errors in my event viewer.. i am running my server as a PDC or active dir.... it installs DNS... i dont want DNS but with the active dir you have to.. so how do i make the errors go away??? please help me if you can...

You can't. Active Directory depends on DNS and to run Active Directory you must be a PDC.
