HI I have a little question for you guys.
I have two computers that have Netgear FA310TX (Nic:s with 10/100,pci,full duplex support. I also have a Netgear FS105 10/100 Switch. How do I tell If I have full duplex enabled?

Can you check in the network properties. Under your Netcard it may give you the information you want. Some cards just automaticly adapt to the there connection. Hope this helps.

Ok thanks =), I read somewhere that you should use autosensing, but as It happens I can't enable that on one of the machines (W2k,SP1). Is there any programs out there that might shed some light over this question.
chrille, the switch should have a full-duplex LED indicator.

Damn I feel like a Idiot =). Why haven't I thought of that. A closer look on the switch Itself proved to be a good thing..arghhh. There It was "Green=FDX", and just below It two green led's. I'm not In the land of the ignorant anymore =). Thank's ALOT http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/smile.gif). You proved right. I've learned a lesson today. That goes, being a jackass and refuse to read any type of documentation Is one thing but one can take a look at the unit itself =)
