Ya, well I am having trouble with my cable modem. When I first got it which was 1 year ago it was blazing speed on online gaming. Now, it is 200-900 ping on UT, TFC, Q3, and CS. I need to know if tweaks can get me get into the 80's again or it is just the service. Because when I walk it is like a Power Point Slide Show! If you can help... thanks a lot!

with cable/modem based problems u should post in the cable forum, u'll get more responses.
But yeah, make a back up of ur registry and try cablenut's patch at www.cablenut.com (http://www.cablenut.com)
Most likely more ppl have joined on ur node causeing slower speeds, do u play teh games during prime times or early morning and stuff? Even with ur node being more populated u should still get lower pings, 200 should be ur high.

well, if you don't know anything about cable modem speeds or about your cable modem internet service, then thats a too bad for you. Getting pings like those just depends where your connected to, where your from, see if your neighbors are using the same cable modem service, and/or see if your cable modem service is lagging, being fix, in traffic, or having problems. Having cable modem just depends mostly on everything. To tell you the truth, there is no tweaks to help you, I tried and it didn't work, you can try it yourself.

Tweaks can help your overall system performance. You just have to be advised correctly on how to do it. Now there are situations that only your provider can remedy, but in most cases your speed and stability will improve. YARDofSTUF was right though, you will receive better and more advice in the Cable Modem Forum.
Good Luck,
