what kind of ping would i get with IDSL for quake 3

I saw a gamers package, it was 144\144, sounds pathetic to me. Does anyone know what kind of ping i would get ?

I have 144/144k IDSL with Speakeasy. I get pings as low as 35. As far as playing games, the size of the pipe really doesn't matter. If you want to host games, however, you can only host for six on this type of connection.
