Netgear RT314 and Half Life Server

I am trying to set up a dedicated server to run a halflife mod. I tried port forwarding, and this works, but only if people add my server in the half life internet screen. I cannot get my server to show up on its own when I update the servers in half life.

On port forwarding, should people connecting to my server see the ip for the router, or the ip my computer is using?

People will see the IP address given to you by your ISP (your router WAN IP). The router forewards the request to the appropriate computer based on the forwarding instructions.

Ok, then I have a problem somewhere. When I do a search for my server in half life, it finds the ip my computer is on but not the ip my router is on. Do you have any suggestions?

I know somebody said something about there being multiple ports that have to be forwarded. How do I figure out which ones to forward?

make shure you have the latest firmware update 3.22

Also, NetGear had a special patch which addressed Half Life server issues, look for it on their website.
