Need Some Help

Ok heres the deal. I just got a satellite connection. It work great except for one thing the LAG sucks. The speeds for download are great ive seen 589, and this is a full duplex thing so it does both up and download. It is networked through the house using Winproxy. The coumputer that is the last one on the network (bus topology) has about 14ms between it and the server. So its clear that the server or the ISP is the problem. My question is how do i get the pings to come down out of the clouds. where talking 1500-2000ms.

I've heard the Satelites are great for d/l and all that, but for gaming they suck.. i was going to do the same thing you did, but I read reviews and pings can flucuate and can reach higher pings than dial-up....

I was going to get the Starband or something like that, i don't know what you have.. (dish network.. not sure)...
