how do you get Q3 to show fps? for directX games i use a program called fraps...

Mines On 800x600 everything high.
But when I try 1024x768 like urself, my fps drops to like 40-50 and the game sux!

fubarman, you have an ULTRA?

You should be spiking way over 200FPS. I get over 200 in some places. No 160 is not average, it is high. I posted that screenshot just to do a little bragging of my own. http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/smile.gif I usually get anywhere from 60-110 in game (as an average) Space maps lower the FPS (and they are my fav).
On certain maps, I don't drop below 90.

Go to the same location as my screenshot in "Troubled Waters" and see what ya get while standing there.

I would think your Ultra would be smoking! I have the regular GTS2 64M DDR.
What processor do you have?
Mine is a 1Ghz Athlon. Not overclocked (at this time)
Using the Detonator 3.1 drivers and DX7.
I actually get worse scores in 3DMark2000 when I OC my card settings. Of course I get better results when my CPU is OC'd with a FSB of 110 (vid card stock). Then I really get some nice gaming action, not to mention kikass apps.

The console is a feature of Q3, and the command also is Q3 specific. No, you cannot do this with other games.

I won't embarrass myself here showing my ping/fps/score, hehee.

Lemme tell you this, at least two of those three numbers for me suck, hehehe.
