soldier of fortune and WinME

i was wondering i wanted to buy the soldier of fortune software and on the box it says the OS is for 95/98/NT. Does this mean that i cannot run it if i use WinME. Does anyone play this game and have WinME. Please advise thanks.

yes it works for ME biggy. It came out before ME did so it doesnt mention it on the box. I have it on my Windows ME computer and it runs fine. Make sure you download and run GL Setup before running the game so it can check for updated video drivers. Good luck.

Roody, for some reason i cannot run the demo that i downloaded. it installed fine, but when loading it from desktop all i get is a black screen and have to reset computer. did this 3 or 4 times. what is the problem. i have the latest drivers for my VooDoo card .

SoF also runs fine for me with WinME and V5 5500.

I only used the latest 3dfx V5 drivers.
Have never bothered with the gl setup monkey motion.....

sorry for the delay in response biggy. I also had troubles with the demo , but went ahead and bought the game straight out and had no problems after running the forementioned program. I have spoken with alot of people about the demo and alot of them share the same problem. I doubt it will happen with the game itself. Good luck.
