I HAVE VERSION 1.08 BUT I CANT SEEM TO RUN WINQUAKE AND I DONT UNDERSTAND IT CRASHES EVERYTIME I TRY TO RUN WINQUAKE.EXE
I HAVE TO RUN IN DOS MODE UNE=DER Q95.BAT AND I DONT UNDERSTAND I HAVE A NVIDIA VIDEO CARD I'M WONDERING IF MY VIDEO CARD SUPPOTRS GL ASWEE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME.

Is that the original Quake? If so I think the only cards that would run it accelerated were the Rendition and Voodoo cards.

It *will* run on non voodoo cards, but on my Riva128 it sucked. Fast, but ugly.

Go buy an old Voodoo1 card for like $10 and use it for your Q1 gaming.

Um, I have glquake running quite nicely on my geforce 2. Just be sure to get the latest drivers (for best performance), and delete the opengl32.dll file in the Quake directory, along with the other 3dfx specific files.
