I have mediaone cable, and i lag, lag, lag. I have 750mhz, 256mb RAM, 32MB diamond Stealth III Video Card. HELP PLZ

The only thing is that i can download @ 100+ bps.........is it still the cable company? I only have the problem when gaming, and not when I am brousing or downloading.

I have a very fast cable connection at home, and was lagging badly on an Athlon 700/128MB/TNT2 Ultra/ATA66 HD/Linksys Cable/DSL router, etc... none of my other games lagged... I decided to upgrade that gaming machine to 256MB of RAM -- and all the lag is gone. Don't ask why, I don't know. I just listened to what the people here said... and it worked. What's your upload cap? Are you hosting or joining the game?
