Verizon ADSL!!

i have verizon Adsl, upload 90, download 640, i uauslly get around 100 ping in CS, but i have seen alot other ppl uses verzion too and they have much lower ping like 50, is there anyone using verizon dsl and know how to lower my ping? im a newbie http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/smile.gif

Might not be a connection difference, but more a location difference. It could also be your computer's speed, the programs you have running in the background, how loaded the Verizon server in your area is at that moment...Lots of things. Maybe they signed up for a faster connection from Verizon...maybe their phone lines are newer and can handle more load. Could be any number of things. My suggestion is apply the registry and system.ini tweaks here on speedguide.net, and try some registry tweaks at regedit.com too. Also shut down all programs in the background before you play cs. Should help a bit.
