Cant play C/Strike thru local Servers anymore!

Ever since Ive installed Counter-Strike Beta 7.1, its seems that I cant connect to almost all of the Local Servers anymore. It keeps prompting me that my DLL is different from the Servers! Why is this so and how do I resolve this? I didnt get this kind of hassle before when running Beta 7.0! Any help would be deeply appreciated.

That's because all of the local servers you use to play on have not upgraded to Beta 7.1 yet.

Your Beta version must be that same version that the server is running. Give them a bit of time and they should realize that the new Beta is available. Or if you know the server admin, tell him to get with the times and get the updated Beta! http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/smile.gif

The servers should be fully aware of the new 7.1 release by now. . . I remember the first day it came out, only a few servers didn't have this yet. Everyone should be updated by now. . .

I'm running Beta 7.1 and I still get servers saying that my DLL differs from the servers. But I also play on internet game servers and not on LAN'S. Try playing on Internet games for awhile and see what happens? http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/smile.gif

Usually if the server isn't running the same beta as you it is greyed out. Are the servers you are trying to get on greyed out Cyferick?????

Hey, I was wondering the same thing too that how come most of the Servers havent been upgraded yet. Also there is no indication that they running a different version like greying out or something which makes it even more difficult to guess. Anyway since you guys must be lovers of the game yourself, thought Id share with a pic of an ammo goldmine that a player stumbled upon by accident.
