O MAN! SO CONFUSED WITH QUAKE 3

I tryed everything, Still when I join some games, it loads then crashes to main menu, then I join and it says its downloading sumthin, next thing i know I got all new characters! did i miss them or did they get downloaded? And when I install the point release 125, EVERY Game says server uses protocal 45 and never lets me join!

Is your broadband device been ok latley,try reconfiguring your settings

First off, are you trying to join a server that runs a COMP, if so you need the latest COMP "www.reactivesoftware.com"

Second, when you get kick, scroll up in your console to see why you got disconneted.

Third, when you receive the message about protocol 45, that server is still using point release 1.17. I have heard that alot of servers are not gonna go to the new 1.25 and that is doesnt work with all the mods out there.
