OS: Win98se
CPU: AMD K6-2 500mhz clocked to 550mhz
RAM: 64mg + 8mg/video
i have a cable thru cox@home service and my speed is usually pretty good. download speeds
usually are around 500-700kbs. but when i am on the Zone or Mplayer my ping time will not display i have no little bars or enything. i
can play RS ok unless there more than about 6
people in a game then i seem to start to lag really bad. nobody wants to join a game i host because they think my speed is slow. i had some mods installed so i took them off,
"Did'nt help" reinstalled RS "Did'nt help"
changed some of the RS settings "Did'nt help"
does enyone know what the problem is. Oh! also usually after i play 3-4 games i get kicked off and when i reload RS i get an error that says "can't create a direct sound device reboot computer" please help!
