Zone Alarm and ICQ

What exactly does zone alarm do to ICQ? Does it prevent you from sending/receiving messages? Is the only way to get it working by putting medium security level and is medium security level sufficient protection?

Nope, Zone Alarm can be at highest security level setting, and ICQ will still function. Just make sure that under programs, Check the "Allow Server" beside "ICQ". Even u don't do this, ICQ will still function, but I think the checking will make it easier. I got Zone and Black Ice working at the same time. Both are good, and yes, I do think Black Ice is better.

Zone alarm also blocks my @home proxy server...is there any way to enable this?
