Is there any way to kill an active connection to your server? sometimes when playing a multiplayer game it crashes and when i try and restart i get the 'ol cd key in use thing. When i do a netstat i see that im still connected to the won authorisation server.. any way to kill it??

I'm not sure, but i have run into that on many occasions - usually after i use my machine to host. There may be a way to manually kill a connection, but there is a chance it is a delayed connection kill on the side of the WON server. The reason I say this is because you can turn off your machine (in effect physically killing the connection), boot up immediately afterwards, and try to reconnect to the WON server, and get the same authentication error. The only thing I have found to work is to give it up for a bit (in my case, maybe 15 to 30 min) to give their server time to realize the connection is gone and clear the connection.
I know this is not exactly the answer you are looking for, but I hope this helps.
