Dynamic IP's

Ameritech in my area is using Dynamic IP's instead of static. Is there a security advantage to this?

There can be.
But only in the fact that your IP will change every so often.

If your IP is always the same (static), then you may be subject to more attacks since the atacker would always know your IP.

The downside is that you cannot always have the same IP.
This makes it a little more hard to run a server since your IP will always change.
