Newbie with Cable and Linksys

Hello, I just got cable service and a linksys. My home OS is 2000 Server on NTFS, I am familiar with NT security.

I have little knowledge in the firewall area and I am paranoid. I want 100% safty with my financial data. I would think that would probably mean a zip disk.

Does someone have a FAQ for setting up the linksys? I have also been playing with Zonealarm, Nuke Nabber, and Black Ice. Zonealarm seems to be pretty cool as does Nuke Nabber, Black Ice seems to marketed to the very unskilled which usually means a weak product. I have 1 beefy 600@800PIII PC and a few spares which could serv.

If you will email me i will help you set it up. I have setup quit a few linksys routers, they are easy. I will walk you through it step by step. Just have in mind what you expect it to do and i will tell you if can or can not do that.
