ZoneAlarm not letting IE browse

I've given full access to Internet Explorer and Explorer, but when I try to visit a website, it refuses a connection to that site. It does this on both Medium and High modes. What am I missing here? Something obvious?

The only thing I can think of is..

Open ZA and click on programs and MAKE sure IE has a checkmark for internet access. No matter has high or low you set the security, if IE has a big red X for internet, then you just took away internet access from IE.

Another thing you can try and do.

Open ZA and go into programs... Look for IE and right click on it and select delete. Then load IE up and when you get the message do you want to let IE have internet access, check of all ways remember and then click yes.

I finally fixed it. All I had to do was update my IE. For some reason, it didn't like that version!

5.0something I believe.
It's the version that came with my Dell.
I upgraded to 5.5
