I have ZAPro on my Win2k machine and I'm using Vermillion FTP Daemon for my FTP Server. The problem is, when it's on High Security, the person that tries to connect to me gets blocked by ZAPro even though the program has full rights. But if I drop it down to medium, it will work. My question is, is there a better FTP server program that works fine with ZAPro or can I add a certain IP Address to ZAPro that will allow the person to not get blocked by it? TIA

I use FlashFXP (http://www.flashfxp.com/)
Free trial ;)

I need a server program that works with ZAPro, not a client. Or a way to add someone's IP so they can have full access.

The only place I can put in someone's IP is under the Local Zone Contents but the person isn't in my local zone. Any help?

Thanx

thanx for the reply Ken, but all I can put in is allowing specific incoming and outgoing UDP and TCP ports, there isn't an option for IP's.

You are adding the IP in the correct place.
Local Zone Contents
It will only work with Local Zone set to medium. All that does is allow you to be pinged. It does not compromise your security as long as you leave the internet setting at high.

So if I add the IP, it will just allow me to be pinged? that makes sense because that's where I had originally added it and the person was still being blocked (he was trying to FTP to me). So there isn't a way I can give a person full access to my comp while blocking everyone else?
