Had someone come over & they used one of my PCs to check their Hotmail account...on the nexy boot it crashed. couldn't reformat.

MS Tech Support spent 5 hours with me & was no fix.

Happened again after someone used PC to check Hotmail....PC#2 crashed on reboot.

Had 2 PCs down for 2 weeks. Tech Support sent it to Research Dept. They determined it was new Virus & sent me winME + no charge.

Already knew Hotmail was not reputable & had many problems.

Is also a Virus Factory.

Have blocked access to Hotmail on all my PCs.

Would Strongly suggest you not access Hotmail or let anyone else. Block it.

Also. you might want to get AdAware 5.5 from www.lavasoft.de (http://www.lavasoft.de) to remove 'adware' & 'spyware' from your puter. [ freeware ]

And, Anti Trojan 5.0 from www.anti-trojan.net/ (http://www.anti-trojan.net/) [free for 5 uses] to get rid of trojans.

Make sure AV prog is up-to-date.

Regarding the Password, you don't want to go to that site.

I have been using Hotmail for well over 2.5 yrs. and have not had a single problem. If I were you, I would look more closely at who is using your PC, or, who is sending the attachments to that E-Mail address. Your PC may have crashed, but the E-mail with the attachment will still be sitting at Hotmail in that account.

As for that other guy regarding a key stroke recorder, go here http://www.fortunecity.com/underworld/galaxian/59/hack2.htm

A word to the wise, If you have a teen who uses your PC, block all E-mail programs under thier user name from downloading attachments. It will save you a lot of grief as teens love to play jokes on one another. Or are very vendictive for what ever reason.

I have been using Hotmail before they were owned by Microsoft and never had a problem.

hey dude, i use to have this hoax program on hotmail.com, it would really look like the actual www.hotmail.com (http://www.hotmail.com) website, and everytime someone logs on and enters their information, it would save their information to a .txt file on your hard drive and have their login/password, then it would display something about hotmail.com has difficulty logging you on, hehe i caught alot of people in my class with that,i deleted it though when i quit that newbie mentallity =)

well their was this backdoor on hotmail.com, when you can just enter in their login id and it would log you on, but they patched that vulnerability a while back
