Is it good to run more than one firewall at a time.
Gets a bit confusing to the user, Matt.
Used to run ZoneAlarm and Sygate this way and it got to the point I was wasting time so I removed Sygate. There seemed to be no real conflicts though.
Just as a side issue to do with Virus programs if I may......... AVG and InnoculateIT PE apopear to run happily together and there are valid reasons for using more than one AV program. Don't see the need for two firewalls thouhgh

Well one firewall doesnt block UPD ports and one does so I am thinking I would run both to be more secure.

I ran sybergen desktop security and zone alarm and it worked ok with each other. Found out that zone alarm could do everything that sybergen could do so got rid of it.

I personally use two firewalls just because im paranoid and it makes me sleep well @night. ;) However, I don't recommend running two antivirus software simultaneously because in most cases they will conflict with each other causing damage rather than protecting your data.
