Minilog Removal on Win2k

I know on Win98 you can just remove the minilog.exe from your startup in Msconfig (or any other startup manager), but how do u remove it from startup on Win2k?

Are you referring to the EVENT LOG? If so, set it to manaul or disable it in CONTROL PANEL/ADMIN TOOLS/SERVICES.

Sounds like you're talkin about the Zone Alarm Log. Just go into CONTROL PANEL/ADMIN TOOLS/SERVICES and disable, or set to Manual the True Vector Basic Logging Client entry. Also make sure thats it's also disabled in the Zone Alarm client. Hope this helps http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/smile.gif.

Hey Jugs :D,

If you open up Zone Alarm and go into the Alert settings, UNCheck the "Log Alerts To A Text File" check box. Hope This Helps :)

Ok that's what I thought. I have unchecked that and looked around to see if there was anything else to disable but I couldn't find anything. Didn't want to remove the startup of minilog before I made sure that was all I had to disable.
