Hi Guys
Just information being supplied here.
Symantec has just released their new upgrade to NIS....no automatic rule creation.
Anyone using NIS should consider the upgrade.

NIS and Personal Firewall 2001 do this. I however don't recommend that the average user use this feature. It can be complicated and daunting to the novice. For the more experienced user, by all means give it a shot!!!
