I just had 960 kbps DSL line w/ static IP(non PPPoE)installed on my home computer. As of right now I don't have a router(I know...Great Firewall capability) so I'm looking for the best software Firewall available. I don't run my computer as a server or anything else, but I do play Links LS 2000 with a friend over the net. Will the fire wall prevent him from having access all the time? Or do I have to shut down the wall for me to host the game? Is there a prog. that will allow me to selectively set his IP address as cleared for access? Thanks ahead of time for the help.
