Have you tried this out yet by chance?
Looks good, just wonder if it is good!

Freedom has been out for a while now. I was actually gonna give it a try a few months back, but hwy fix something that aint broke. I've also heard some things about it, regarding the firewall, that's not as powerful as the other firewalls that are already on the market. Give it a shot and see, never hurts to try.

Looks promising, however, when they compare themselves to GATOR it has me concerned.
Gator places some spyware like files on your PC, including WEB 2000.
I refuse to be the guinea pig with this one.
Freedom won't work with :
AOL and CompuServe 2000
IPX/SPX network protocols; Novell Netware Client32
Free ISPs that require mandatory proxies for advertising
Conceal Private Desktop/McAfee Personal Firewall
Macintosh and NT4
WinPoET when running on Windows 2000
All Internet connection sharing software (Freedom requires a
direct connection to the Internet)
Other firewalls if they are configured to deny access to certain data ports

mac version not out yet, apparently... http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/frown.gif
they want beta testers for it, though, when it does come out.... :0
looks cool from the examples, though.... http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/smile.gif
Hi crazyman
Please don't take this the wrong way...no offense implied or intended.
We all appreciate your input and sharing that with us.....I for one didn't know about it, until you brought it to our attention.
Thanks Again.
Always good to get NEW info. Is why we are here.
Will be watching this one to see how it stacks up to others.
A reference to 'Gator' is either poor marketing or suspicious.
Hey keeper
My point exactly...when they compared themselves to GATOR, that sent a red signal flag.
Questionable marketing I would venture to say....but I would have to install it and try it to be able to give an opinion.

I tried freedom but since I use internet connection sharing, the software wouldn't even run properly.
It does look like a powerful program...maybe too powerful.
