View Full Version : Links to this stuff.
Anyway that someone could post the links to this stuff?? I have zone alarm and running it with mcafee, but was wondering about all this Inoculate, and sygate using less resources n such. Was wondering what everyone thought. Also can i get the links to them, like
Inocculate
Sygate
The tiny firewall thing.
Adaware
and any others that may be of interest.
Thanks

Try tiny personal firewall or sygate. I know tiny use less system resources and I think sysgate does. But as far as the other ones you listed I have never tried. Just try them and see which one works the best for you.

Damn, Thank you guys. Jandonent What do you do as career, are you in security for work?? or is it just a hobby? Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks for the links again all. At work right now but will check em out later http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/smile.gif
McAfee Hogs Resources, I would get rid of it, I did.
Would go with InnoculateIT, free + free updates. Much better than McAfee.
Also; AdAware 5.0 & Anti-Trojan 5.5
Tiny is for very knowledgable users, not a load & use prog.
Prefer Zone Alarm over Sygate.
Losing the McAfee will be the largest performance boost. [ see the "How to Remove McAfee...Completly"] post, first.
Good Luck.
