Hello,
Okay i am a little concerned? OKay i have zonealarm pro just so all of u know! Okay when i installed zapro everyday it would say all the hacker attampts to get into my computer and pings and everything. Now it has been a week and i do not get any hackers or pings or ANYTHINg that za picks up! I am a little concerned b/c it may not be picking up this stuff. I have looked inside the program and it says to display a error box whenever someone tries to access my puter...and i have checked my log..and nothing. So i dunno...does anyone have any suggestions on y it is doing this? I have win98se, and i have shaw@home.

Thanx Anyone that can help!
Matt

kewlmatt13 I'm not to sure about ZA Pro but i use Black Ice and Sygate and there are times when I was hit over 300 times in a single day. I haven't had any activity in well over a week, I'm not saying that your program is or isn't working but I wouldn't panick.

Hey matt, you may have accidently told ZA not to keep a log. If you have the small icon over by your clock, it is working. If you want to see the alerts, double click on the icon to bring ZA up, then click on Alerts, be sure that you have checked: Show the alert in pop up window and also Log alerts to a text file, then click on Advanced, then the "Suppressed Alerts" tab, then check "Clear All" then "Apply". This will log all hits and give you an alert each time. But remember this uses memory and resources.

You can log in to: https://www.grc.com

There, they have a program called shield up that actually probe into any opening ports on your computer and then at the end of the day will give you a result on your pc security level. Worth a try!

Also make sure your Internet Zone under security is set to high.
