I just noticed that they changed the address book, and first and last names are requiered fields. Has anyone read their user agreement lately? I was just wondering if they had started using users address books to mine for information.

Hotmail was just Busted, again. Was big news for a while.

Have heard they are a Virus Factory as well.

They have already proven themselves unethical...and potentially dangerous.

There are too many other email services out there that are NOT known to be unethecical.

I have absolutely NO comprehension as to WHY anyone would use that site.

I'm with you Keeper. I have never, and never will, use Hotmail. It's Microsoft, you know how much they can be trusted and how "ethical" they are. I'm with Yahoo.

I have been reading a lot of links that are saying some really bad risks with Hotmail...
Sublime, read Prey's thread in general forum called Black Angel as an example: http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/Forum1/HTML/002306.html

Actually, it was another article on the site that has Black Angel, I'll see if I can find it again...

I only use Hotmail for junk mail and never open anything. I may shut the account down judging from what I have just read. My wife has a Hotmail account also, she has(why I don't know) been opening e-mails here recently, some have had viruses in them. Thank You Norton for saving the day!
The e-mails were from a person that had gotten the address without any problems, no doubt.

I caught a boot virus the day after someone came over and accessed their Hotmail account.

MS Tech spent 5 hours with me trying to get PC to reformat. Never did. Had to get new Hard Drive.

Coincidence??
