Users of the DGL-4500...you may want to hold back on upgrading firmware to the recently released 1.20, and apparently some 1.21 beta...until a later version. Widespread complaints of this firmware making the router become unresponsive every 72 hours, requiring a power cycle of the unit.

Yes, the same happened to me with the DIR 655 A3 when going from 1.2x to 1.3x
Every 96 hours or so the wireless fails and requires a power cycle.

Firmware 1.32NA screwed up the Shareport on my DIR-655. No other problems that I have noticed. Can't go back to the 1.2x series though. :wth: If you look though the D-Link forums you will see that they pretty much screwed up across there whole rang of routers with the newer versions of firmware. Lots of complaints that seem to go unanswered by D-Link. :(
For those people who have upgraded to 1.20/1.21 and can't get D-Link to help them replace the router or refund. Follow the directons at the link below and you will get quick action from D-Link. There are also two threads at DSLR about the same issue.

Everyone who has followed the instructions at the page above have gotten immediate attention from D-Link.
