WinME/Antivirus software help Pls....

Hi, just found out that Norton Antivirus 2000 version 6.0 is apparently not compatible with ME. Does anyone have any recommendations. I still have 10 months left on my subscription. Thanks in advance.

CNET advises Win ME is not compatible with BlackIce and Nortons Firewall. Check for service packs at Microsoft.

If you are looking for free antivirus protection IPE from http://antivirus.cai.com/ works for
me with Win ME/Win 98 (SE)/W2K. If you mean
a firewall - check Zone Alarm. As for Norton, I heard they were coming out with something (last Friday), so you might want to check with them.

I run window ME. Norton anti-virus 2001 works just fine with ME.

Thanks everyone! I've now got Antivirus 2001 or version 7 running just fine. ZoneAlarm both versions seem to work fine as well. Take care all.
