LINKSYS Router and FTP Server

I've got Linksys router and Cable modem with RoadRunner. These guys change IP without even asking you, they change it even if the machine is running every night.
I'm running FTP and Web server and since I'm behind the router local IP is 198.162.1.x however the real on is 24.28.x.x

Does somebody know which software to use to find real IP and update DynDNS server, all progs out there seem to be catching only internal IP?
Any help appriciated

Well if you now the function of the router... is to protect and share your conetion with use of one ip "real ip provided by Road Runer" the function of the router giving the ip 192.162.X.x is to put your real ip on a private network mode. That way if your been scan or attack by an intruder "hacker", i whont result on succes....why? i will never in anny sircumstances relase any info about your Network or single pc.If at any moment ill relase any info the only info that attacker will get is "these is a privet network...bla bla bla bla bla...and sosososo
So no matter what behind the router there still the real ip because withou it youl never get conected with the server....
so in another words the router is spoofing your ip!!!and thats good but not 100% secure...
thers allwais difirent method of Hacking.....hehehehhee
the cahnges of ip is to make diferent conetion base on speed today you coul get an ip 192.68.1.101 and your conection will be slow but couple of minutes later your ip will be 192.68.162.1 and the conection is faster....But scince they make some changes and upgrade the server youl stay with one ip
and ill change only sometime when you reboot the pc depending in your plataform...
A good program for changin external ip will be "DHCP man" found at www.webattack.com (http://www.webattack.com) in the free ware section....
beside you can do that and do more.. like you said you whant to change the dyDNS by using "ipconfig" if your usin win9x
