As far as I know you can not change your IP address. When you log on you either have a dynamic or static IP, either you have a fixed one assigned to you or one that changes and varies when you log on.

First and foremost, get a firewall or 2. Second, could you explain just how you were |-|/\}{04|) into? http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/smile.gif Sorry, had to put it like that.

Sorry You got hacked. First, If you an get a new IP from your provider It's a good idea; just explained to them what happened and they should help. Second, and the most important, get a firewall( blackIce, ZoneAlarm, SyGate, etc ) and two would be better since one can cover what the other one can't. Run an up to date visus checker to make sure since they can find Trojans just like mine. Cross your finger and good luck.

well, if your posting here I assume you have a DSL or cable modem... if you have a modem, all you need to do, obviously, is sign off and back on =oP But if you have a Cable modem, it is most likley static... these guys are right, you need to call your ISP and get it changed... if you have DSL (or even some cable) you might have a dynamic IP that only changes once a day or so, in that case you have nothing to worry about... if you are not sure, call your ISP
