dhcp blue screen of death stop error

i have trendnet usb wifi running on win 2000 prof.
my computer crash with blue screen of death
stop error x000000001e ( xc00000005 x0 x0 x0)
ie memory violation

but if i disable dhcp in services.exe
it doesnt crash, wifi showing signal strength and bytes sent,
but internet explorer gives error of dns error


know solution?
