I think I have 5 mb connection. I did some tweaking, but it seems not to change a lot. I'm using Vista Home Premium(64bit). I live in Canada. My ISP is Shaw Communications, and I use Netgear WGT624v2 modem.

Since speedtest is not near to 5 mbps, check signal quality and update firmwares for Nic and router to suit Vista.
