Pumpkin Carving Contest 2008 - May the best pumkin win!

It is time for the SG Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest !

Participate, and your creation will be forever recorded in Internet history !

Get your pumpkins in by Saturday, November 1st, and you will have a chance of winning a 1 year SG Premium membership. Second and thirds place may be awarded consolation prizes depending on number of entries. There will be voting for the best pumpkin once the contest is over. Please post your entries in this thread. Feel free to email me the images if you need them hosted, or just attach them to your post.

Please take a picture with something SG related in it, possibly your SG username, and date, so we can verify it's your creation. You can submit multiple entries. The pumpkin can be carved by you, or a member of your immediate family.

1st place - 1 year SG Premium membership.
2nd & 3rd place - to be determined, depending on number of entries.

Ok I've got 3 here.. I carved all 3 but the little one is for my boy whom being only a year old isn't allowed a knife so he pointed sometimes and I just cut :)

I could never do stencils... just defeats the purpose of going old school from back in the old days of just cutting with a knife :D

I like to keep it simple and to the point...they worked really well with my haunted house setup I did last night too! I show some fog out of them using small hoses I ran from a splitter I built from one of my fog machines..that with the candle was cool!

They all looked good though! My boy carved a few pumpkins this year. Lots of fun.

Mine didn’t come out too bad, but it’s not near the quality of Dan’s and Ace’s.

It was my first attempt at carving with a jig-saw.

My son wants me to take it in the back yard and shoot it with my shotgun. :rotfl:

Keep in mind that my backyard is about five acres.
