View Full Version : Speedstream 8613 does not allow video phone to work

I have an ACN video phone which works really well on my wireless modem,however it only works voice on my speedstream modem.
it is not a speed issue i have been told it is my modem not allowing the video in and out at once.Can anyone help me or do i need to get a different modem.

It sounds like your modem may have a route built into it which is blocking the ports to the video confrencing.
In the modem options it's usally a site like http//192.168.0.1 ,or consualt the manual of the modem to get the propper addres ,and look for a port forwarding tab.

In that section map thease ports
Power cycle. (Remember, the person you are calling must also have a video phone in order for them to see you.) If the video phone is connected to a router, you may have to open the ports that the video phone uses for audio and video transmission. Port 5000 is for video and port 9000 is for audio.
