Hey Guys,

I have a small problem. I'm running Windows 2000 SP4 and have been using this computer for file sharing for a while now. Anyways, I went to try and share some more folders today and for some reason there is no 'Sharing' option when I right click on the folder. Anyone have any ideas??

Thanks
Matt

Logged in with an account that has administrator privs?

Server and Workstation services started?

Server and Workstation services bound to TCP/IP?

Yeah everything looks great. The server can see and access other computers on the network but the other computers cant see the server. I'm really stumped i have looked through all the administrator settings to allow networking and file sharing but there is just no option for sharing when i right click on any folder. I have searched google endlessly but cant find anything. I'm not sure ...

Try right-clicking "My Computer" and select "manage".

In computer management, under system tools, select shares. Do you see any existing shares there? If you right click in open space to the right where the shares are listed, can you add a new file share?
