sir i tried your suggestions regarding on the settings and this what ive got..
http://www.speedtest.net/result/313916392.png
this result is almost the same before i tried to use TCP optimizer..
is there still a way to increase my dl and ul speed?
my computer is ok and doesnt have any viruses or spyware..
i also have CCleaner..
i also installed fasterfox add ons in my mozilla browser..
and my internet settings is also optimized by tune up utilities2008..
does the optimization by tune up utilities affects the tweaks of TCP optimizer?
any advice to increase my speed connection?
thanks in advance

You got >500 kbps from 384 kbps line. I'd say your speed is optimum !

what is the purpose of the tracert
http://forums.speedguide.net/showpost.php?p=2155617&postcount=56
Relocate modem/router to some place that are a few feet away from ALL other electrical devices, including apart from each other. Also, make sure you do not coil up any excess length of signal or power cables.

Exceptionally high ping times in hop 1 showed us that your modem had been affected !
They should be 1ms <1ms <1ms !
IP address at hop 1 is not that of a router - 192.168.xx.xx and thus ping times cannot be all <1ms.
It is the ping times at a modem. Ideally, all 3 ping times at hop 1 should be 28-29ms, not 50ms.

your promblem at line one could be anything move the modem away from electrical equipment. It could be a faulty network cable. Something in the phone line/ cable line causing a longer delay to the modem. If you are using usb switch to a network cable.
That's dealy is a long dealy at hop1 it should only be in the single digits to your first hop.

Single digits only for non-interleaved (fastpath) DSL. Interleaved connections will have additional 20+ms in ping times at hop 1.

Tracert looks better in hop 1 ! Keep your modem far away from electrical equipment to maintain the performance.

Check for bad dsl filters if you use them they can go bad make sure you dont' hear any clicks ,or pops on the line. IF the phone wirring is old maybe look into re wirring it.
