Shooters are dead. Their glory days ended almost 10 years ago.

What was a hunt and kill genre turned into a sit and camp genre.

Back with quake 2 and mohaa I would have to drag myself away from the comp I was having so much fun. Now I have to run away from my comp to keep from bashing my pc to death with my fists.

I don't know about all that. I'm still addicted and COD4 is a blast but yeah, there are some maps where people camp too much. I usually like the bomb / objective maps that keep people moving.

I do know that adding a good old Q2 / Q3 grappling hook to COD4 would be a blast..

I loved Q2 with a super fast grapple..

Id agree, thats the main reason I stopped playing them a while ago.

I mostly play Starsiege:Tribes or Tribes-like games. Its battlefield on speed with jet packs.

If you camp, your doing as good as someone who is AFK. :thumb:

I remember Tribes: Vengeance had a more flexible grappler.

I don't know, most of my favorite kills are when the person doesnt' even know im there. I love watching them drop with one quick silent shot. :thumb:

I disagree. COD4 (Multi) has a very big MoHAA feel to it. I enjoy it ...it's lots of fun.... Battlefield 2 is still awesome 3 years later.

I wish it had a MOHAA feel to me, it was my favorite multiplayer shooter.

BF2 was only fun for me if I found a good clan. However, every team I joined I had to mute half the team in vent because they were insistant on being obnoxious and annoying.

Sounds like you need to find a good clan to play w/ regularly.

The 13, 14, and 15 yr old kids that you argued with were better than you as an FPS gamer. You didn't gel as part of the team. I, along with Crabtoes and Crazycanuck made the decision to let you go as we weren't interested in investing time with you at the expense of the team that we had built and worked with for 2 years.

I think you need to grow up and look inward because every time you are faced with a challenge, you quit. You quit our clan, you quit the Marines, you quit stupid debates on an internet forum....look at your track record and then ask yourself, why do I quit so often at things?
