No Dsl Connection

Hi everybody;
Here is my problem:
I have sis 900 fast ethernet adapter ( integrated LAN card ).
I have a Dsl Modem ( ZTE ), but I can not connect to the internet;
Please help me if there is any special configuration for this LAN Card;

Do you have a pppoe cilent installed windowsxp vista both have their own client. Shouldn't be any special things for the lan card to connect ,but maybe you should try another nic i've seen it behore where the onboard didn't work. Another thing maybe before the new card try a different driver ,and network cable.
