i have comcast for my isp, VERY fast downloads from anything on the web... but downloading binaries from usenet seems to be about 4-5x slower. i'm not exactly sure about the speed i'm just measuring it by the time i start the downloads to the time they're complete...
not sure what I could to do speed up or if there is software out there that tracks usenet speed transfers?
