Not really much of a noticable difference. Logging in goes about 2 seconds quicker..that's about it.

Promised faster file manipulation/copy/transfer/unzipping....nope
Faster browsing of network shares? Nope.

humm.. XP will retire in couple of month my reps at Dell were saying all PCs will have vista on them and we can't upgrade our servers to 2008 ye Thanks for the info tho

Yeah it stinks...as I don't deploy the latest and greatest server to clients until closer to SP1 for that server is out. Jumping on rolling out 2008 right now is, IMO, as crazy as jumping on deploying Vista to clients at this point last year. :wth:

Crazy I guess later for new PCs with Vista I’m going to put XP back not even sure if I or any1 at the office ready for Vista
